Working with the Adults in the Classroom - Tailoring Your Support to Their Needs

This workshop is geared for anyone that mentors, coaches, or supervises staff in schools such as general and special education teachers, administrators, autism and behavior consultants, speech therapists, psychologists, and counselors. May also be of interest to family members.

Objectives

Upon Completion of this workshop, participants will:   

  • Clearly define and list goals of an outcome-oriented approach to consultation in the classroom.

  • Discuss a framework of assessing classroom staff’s skills and mindsets as demonstrated by their behaviors and how they match up to potential consultation approaches.

  • Outline potential solutions for addressing common roadblocks met in classroom support situations.

The registration fee for this workshop is $30.00 (USD). All registrations are processed online by Indiana University (IU) Conferences. You may pay with a credit card, check, or purchase order.
