Sexual Health Education and Women with IDD: A Free Webinar for Family and Professional Caregivers

The Center for Health Equity is hosting a webinar for family and professional caregivers on the importance of sexual health education for women with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We will talk about the findings of a multi-year project that aims to improve sexual health literacy and advocacy skills for Hoosier women with IDD. A panel will discuss sexual health education from the perspective of a disability advocate and a parent. Tune in for information about the project’s upcoming in-person pilot sexual health trainings and the curriculum materials that are being piloted. Presenters and panelists will be on hand to answer your questions.

The Center for Health Equity is part of the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community, Indiana University. The project and webinar are supported by funds from the Indiana Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities.
