Rev. Sarah McKenney, Stone Belt Arc's Spiritual Support Coordinator will talk about the primary barrier for many people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to reach belonging in their faith communities. Together we will take a look at the vast variety of variables that create this barrier. We will look at it from the point of view of service providers, congregations, families, the individual themselves, and even the culture of the town or congregation and beyond.
