Understanding Autism in Girls: Missed and Misunderstood

This webinar will seek to illuminate information regarding ASD in girls and why it can often go missed or misunderstood. There is a growing body of literature that suggests that there is a male bias in what we know about ASD. This presentation will review our growing understanding of how the presentation of symptoms and life experiences of girls with ASD may be different from boys. In light of this information, appropriate implications for treatment will be discussed.

Presented by: Anna Merrill, Ph.D., HSPP, Licensed Psychologist, Attention, Behavior, and Cognition, LLC.
