Preventing and Responding to Behavior and ADL Changesin People Living with IDD and Dementia

Caregivers of adults with IDDs and dementia face many of the same challenges as do caregivers of other older adults with dementia; however, they often experience unique patterns of caregiving, face additional challenges and stressors, and benefit from different sources of support and education.

The National Task Force on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Dementia (NTG) is working to expand access to information on IDD and dementia for families, agencies, and others. To assist this effort, they are asking families and other caregivers to help them better understand where they get their information and what information might be of most use to them. The survey does not ask for any identifying information and will be used only in aggregate form to help in planning their information initiative.

To provide input on this initiative, please take this brief survey on or before February 15, 2023.
