Family Employment Awareness Training (FEAT)


Virtual FEAT: Winter 2022

February 22, 23, 24, and March 1, 2, 3
Noon and 6pm

Virtual sessions will take place at noon and will be repeated at 6 p.m. each day. Attendees can choose to attend either session. Noon sessions will feature resources and providers from Huntington County, while our 6 p.m. sessions will feature resources and providers from Wabash County.

Learn about local, state, and federal resources supporting young adults with disabilities who want to work in their communities. Families, transition-age students and young adults with disabilities, and the professionals who support them are welcome to attend the six free training sessions.

February 22—A New Path: Exploring “outside-the-box” job possibilities

February 23—Individualizing Employment Possibilities: Transition to adulthood & IEPs February 24—Employer and Employee Supports

March 1—Employment Resources and Medicaid

March 2—Working and maintaining benefits

March 2—Young Adult Session: Find Strengths – Discover Passions – Disclosure

March 3—Service providers from state and local agencies
