Build a Sensory Space: DIY Options to Create a Sensory Room

A sensory space is a controlled sensory-focused environment that uses lighting, music, and objects to create a calming space, promote self-organization, manage overstimulation and stress, and promote sensory integration.

In this workshop, presenters will demonstrate easy do-it-yourself (DIY) features and items that can be used to create sensory rooms. Features and items presented will be cost effective, readily available, and appropriate for all ages. For those attending this workshop in person, supplies will be provided to create your own sensory fidget to take home.
