Kathy Trinkle, Secretary

Kathy has been part of the Greater Lafayette community since arriving at Purdue University in the mid-80s. She has a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Purdue and worked at Purdue for several years. She also was self-employed as a Computer Consultant for 10 years.

Kathy has been married to Dan for over 30 years and they have one son, Samuel age 22. She is Samuel’s primary caregiver.

She has been very involved in the community including serving on the Board of Directors for First Steps Interagency Coordinating Council and The Arc of Tippecanoe County. She has participated in events for Women in Computer Science at Purdue University. More recently she and Dan serve on the Family Fellowship Committee for Habitat for Humanity, providing support for Habitat partner families as they journey through Habitat.

She is certified as a LifeCourse Ambassador, the Person-Centered Planning tool Indiana uses for HCBS Medicaid Waivers.

She enjoys researching things related to disabilities and thanks to COVID was able to participate in over 60 trainings over the past 2 years.
